The GPT store is live today!

The OpenAI blog has been updated!

Summary by ChatGPT-4:

Summary of the Blog Post:

  • Introduction of GPT Store: Two months after announcing GPTs, OpenAI is launching the GPT Store for ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise users. This store allows users to access over 3 million custom ChatGPT versions created by users and shared for public use.
  • Store Features: The store showcases a diverse range of GPTs developed by partners and the community. It includes a leaderboard with categories like DALL·E, writing, research, programming, education, and lifestyle. New featured GPTs will be highlighted weekly, including tools for trail recommendations, academic paper search, coding tutorials, design tools, book recommendations, and math and science tutoring.
  • GPT Submission Process: Users can build their own GPTs without coding skills and share them in the store. This requires saving the GPT for everyone and verifying the Builder Profile. GPTs must comply with usage policies and brand guidelines, and they undergo a review process for adherence to policies.
  • Revenue Program for Builders: A revenue program for GPT builders is planned, starting in the US. Builders will earn based on user engagement with their GPTs, with details to be provided later.
  • Team and Enterprise Features: The new ChatGPT Team plan offers access to a private section of the GPT Store with secure GPT publishing. Enhanced admin controls for Enterprise customers are also mentioned, including management of internal and external GPTs. Conversations with GPTs are not used to improve models in Team and Enterprise plans.

This summary captures the key developments and features of the new GPT Store, emphasizing its scope, user engagement, and compliance aspects.

Looking forward to everybody’s first experiences!

I got access.

Edit: others have rightfully pointed out that the feature will be rolled out. Hang in there if you have not got it, yet.

Yep, a couple of people accidentally got it early before it was removed from their accounts.

I still see the old version as well. Roll out should come in a couple days I think

Is there a way to display the website instead of the name under the GPT? It used to show the website only instead of the name but now it is the person’s name only:

geez, you gotta say this is being rolled out slowly. I went to look for it, and I had a minor heart attack. I will wait patiently until it looks different.

GPT’s took weeks to be rolled out. Given the fact that they have not specified how long it will take them to roll out access to all ChatGPT+ users, I am guessing they will have it rolled out to everyone by the end of today or tomorrow.

Thanks for showing. Consensus is really cool. Code Tutor from Khan is also really nice. I’m surprised there’s no language learning GPTs topping the overall charts.

I don’t really see the value of AllTrails. This is coming from an avid hiker. I just use the location finding in the application. I guess it’s just free advertising.

Custom GPTs remain accessible to Plus Users and higher tiers only.

I believe they turned off message counts today because so many new people are going to be viewing GPTs in such a small amount of time. They would have to constantly update it, which could cause server lag on top of the fact that people are going to be using GPT-4 a LOT today because they are going to be trying out so many GPTs.
