Solved the problem by adding a single zero before my cell phone number. I am in Taiwan, my cell phone number is like this: 09xxxxxxxx, I put an additional zero before the phone number. Here is what I did: +886 009xxxxxxxx. And it works. Good day.

I tried a simple workaround and it did work. I am from Oman and our mobile numbers are having 8 digits, I tried by adding two 0ā€™s at the beginning and entered my number like +968 00XXXXXXXX (10 digits for the mobile number).
And I got the validation code on my mobile.

i just did it. im from colombia (+57) and the same messange pop up, just put a 0 in front of the cellphone number and work perfectly

Me too, from Taiwan, my number is just a personal cell phone number not any premium number. OpenAI may have a bug in distinguishing whether a number is premium or not.
