@OpenAI_Support Persona KYC is broken.

After 3 failed face checks we land on “Session expired” with no way to restart. Add a simple Reset-link button and loosen the match—people change in 2 yrs.

Each blocked dev is one step closer to another model. Please fix.

yes same for me again. I even tried using my japanese drivers license @OpenAI_Support i hope you can fix this for all of us.

Did you find the solution to this problem ?

You can close the ticket or query. I don’t know how but the org was denied then I came back the next day and it said approved so all good.

How to close the Ticket ?

Just ran into this for my tier 3 account and got the response from chat support that others have mentioned :grimacing:

Thank you for reaching out to OpenAI support.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the delay in resolving this issue. We understand how critical it is for you to complete your account verification and access the API without further delays.

At this time, we’re unable to restart or extend verification sessions once they expire. We understand this can be frustrating.

While you’re still welcome to continue using the OpenAI platform and available models, access to newer models that require verification may not be granted unless the verification was completed successfully.

We’ll be sure to share any updates if verification options become available again in the future.

I guess they’re just not that bothered about people using their API :man_shrugging:

same problem here. I tried to verify using passport, and the face failed 3 times and then hit me with this.

I also encountered Unable to verify organization. We completed the authentication through the link 3 hours ago, but we still cannot use gpt-image-1.

When I want to authenticate again, it prompts me that Session expired, and I cannot reset the authentication link

Does anyone know how to handle this?

Still the same issue here - getting the session expired message after failed authentication and no way to reset or request a new link, rather frustrating!

Same here, any news? i need to verify that in order to move on. i have been trying for two days and no progress/ sad/

Just received a message from support saying that this issue’s been resolved but I’m still seeing the same behaviour :smiling_face_with_tear:

Was anything decided in the end?

:white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:I finally got it working!!! Add someone else as an admin and they are able to verify the org. Don’t try to just do it yourself with a separate email account. I think it has to be someone else cause of the identity verification.

Thank you for the work around! This worked perfectly and now my organization is verified. I second what you said, dont do it yourself with a separate email account.

SAMMMEE exact issue here!

wait are you guys getting this easy only after withpersona fails? because mine was succesfull yet openai dashboard still shows me the verify organization button which then takes me to the session expired page Session expired

Please restart this process or request a new link to continue.

I had a successful verification, but hit this issue. This is what I was told from the support bot and it worked:

  1. Wait, 30 minutes at least.

  2. Generate a new API Key, it clears some type of cache.

  3. Then do a hard refresh on the org page. CMD+Shift+R
