Verify Organization Stuck

We are stuck at verify organization , always giving same error “Session Expired”. Not able to generate the new link. Any suggestion how we can fix this? Or any way to contact support.

“expired” is what you get, because there is no courtesy telling you if you were denied or if the entire system is a royal cluster foulup.

You might email support@openai.com with your organization ID and information - and then let us know here on the forum if they do anything surprising other than say “sorry, no, wontfix”

What if my verification wasn’t successful?

If your verification attempt didn’t go through, your organization may not be eligible to access models that require verification.

Verifications can fail for several reasons, including:

  • The ID is expired, blurry, or missing key information
  • The portrait photo is obstructed or doesn’t match your submitted selfie photo
  • The document isn’t government-issued
  • A scan, screenshot, or digital copy was submitted
  • The ID was used to verify another organization within the past 90 days
  • There was a technical issue during submission
  • The information on your ID doesn’t match your account or organization details
  • Your organization does not meet current verification eligibility requirements

At this time, retries are not supported. You can continue using OpenAI’s platform with your existing access.

Absolutely incredible that OpenAI is incapable of allowing retries… I wasted ~30 minutes just trying to get Persona to work with my Passport, after failing twice tried with my Driver’s License, and POOF, just like that I am no longer capable of verifying my account!

Agree! Very suprised it’s not allowing re-try considering such a bad recogintion quality.

is this only happening to users who failed the verification? because i got the success message (see screenshot) but the dashboard still has the verify organization button which takss me to the expired session page you all are seeing

@pras I’m in the same boat. Did this ever fix for you?

For anyone else who hits this issue after being successfully verified.

  1. Wait, 30 minutes at least.
  2. Generate a new API Key (this is what I was told from the support bot). It clears some type of cache.
  3. Do a hard refresh on the org page. CMD+Shift+R

yes. it took 3 hours..but got verified..not sure if it was manually looked at

ye i had tried all this and tried even after an hour..but nothing…something on their end - either openai or with persona

ive had the same issue for about an hour, ive contact an agent so lets see what happens

I’ve completed the identity verification and even saw the confirmation message. However, when I tried to click “confirm,” it wouldn’t let me verify again. It’s now been over thirty minutes, and I’ve tried several methods — refreshing the page, clearing the cache, logging out and back in, even generating a new key — but it still doesn’t work. It’s so frustrating to waste both time and money like this.

Same issue 2 days ago verified got green check “your verified”, but just reverted in settings screen to verify org and clicking it I get session expired. What are people doing to resolve this, I’m stuck and wanting to implement image features.

Same here. But I was banned from my personal account and api access after completing verification! Please help

I’m having the same issue. I got the congratulations, you’re done! screen on my phone but was never verified on my account.
