Persona link locked on “Session expired” – need reset

Hi all,

My org is blocked by the new ID-verification step. Persona says

Session expired. Please restart this process or request a new link.

There is no button to request a new link. I made 2-3 attempts; selfie apparently didn’t match the ID perfectly → verification failed → hard-lock.

Already raised a ticket via chat/email, but posting here in case staff can quickly reset the inquiry or point to a workaround. Screenshot attached.

@OpenAI_Support Take some responsibility.

Untested Persona KYC strands 1k+ devs on “Unable to verify → Session expired.” We pay for access, not lockouts.

Give a RESET-LINK button and relax the selfie match—ID pics age. Every wasted hour drives devs to other models.

I agree and same issue. I spent weeks for image gen then I try to connect and this? One shot to approve and no redos for error key locked out. This isn’t fun but let’s keep making noise they have to listen.

this their latest email, not only do they tell me that they will not give me a link but they also confirm that I will be kept out of any updates that will require verification. The crazy thing is that while I was taking the face picture it crashed, from that moment the expired session warning blocked everything. I have a corporate account with multiple licenses, I am an early adopter and never expected this. Now I can’t integrate bees, this verification system has corrupted my profile, it is resounding and terribly frustrating

Thank you for your message, and we truly understand how important it is for you to complete the organization verification in order to move forward with your API integration. We appreciate your patience and the clarity with which you’ve described the issue.

At this time, we’re unable to restart or extend verification sessions once they expire. We understand this can be frustrating.

While you’re still welcome to continue using the OpenAI platform and available models, access to newer models that require verification may not be granted unless the verification was completed successfully.

We’ll be sure to share any updates if verification options become available again in the future.

What??? you give just one link per user and if somehow i gave up to try another time the session wil be expired and them we cant just use the API???
