Hi, have been facing the same issue for the past 3 days. None of my payments are getting through. I have tried with multiple cards ranging from VISA, RUPAY, Mastercard of HDFC Bank, none of them are going through and I get a message for merchant being non compliant on e-mandate. Kindly resolve it at the earliest.
Hi, Still facing issue with my card. Getting non complaint on e-mandate exception as others.
This card was working previously and I had paid couple of openAI bills with it. But now its not working.
@openAI team any updates on the resolution?
hdfc credit & debit cards did not work. only axis worked
@edwinarbus The problem is being faced again from India. Cold you kindly check and provide a solution.
SBI credit card works for me. I tried this after HDFC bank card has shown E-mandate error.
I’m unable to make payment from India, have tried multiple different cards also create an new account but still unable to pay using 3 different cards.
I’m facing the same issue. Unable to make the payment because of “Non compliant Recurring or e-mandate” using my HDFC debit card.
Used SBI credit card, and that worked.
But the problem otherwise remains for Infinia, other HDFC cards and AmEx. Not sure if it will work again next month
This is Super Frustrating, just had the problem now and I have a deadline soon. Visa cards from France and UAE didn’t go through, honestly how can OPENAI mess up that to this point ?
Is this issue resolved for you?
Still facing this issue with HDFC cards, ami the only one?
Just to add weight to the matter… HDFC cards are still not working. Please do fix this.
similar thing is happening with the pro plans. i am getting processing error and when contacted my bank, they say that openai needs to provide more details (maybe authentication etc through 3d pin or otp)
I am facing a similar problem using HDFC Bank Credit & Debit Cards. Upon enquiry I was told by the Bank that they do not accept standing instructions from OpenAI. However, when I used the same card with Claude.AI, the transaction went through.
This seems to be an OpenAI problem or a problem with the payment gateway providers - Link and/or Stripe.
Please DO NOT ask customers to use different cards - since several people like me deal with one bank. So what is the solution?
Can someone from OpenAI resolve this issue immediately? This is frustrating.
I faced the same issue today when trying a HDFC card for OpenAI payment. Apparently, OpenAI is not compliant with RBI’s payment guideline at present. can someone help with this?
I tried to make payment for getting Open AI pro subscription. The card that I had used for payment for the last 1 year is also getting declined. Kindly fix immediately.
