They will be rolling out in coming weeks. It’s not available just now but i think you can try it on the playground if you have api account with the payment method setup.

Saw some people already got it on browser on PC. How tf ? I checked mine for the past hours and see nothing, GPT 4-o ain’t nowhere. How ?!? Is this some regional thing ?

I have it both on the computer and on the Android App. I had to refresh both but it is there. The voice seems a bit slower than the demo but pretty cool. I played around with real-time translation and it was not perfect but good enough for sure.

I have it on computer and android. But on the app there is a missing feature. The voice is definitely slower, but it’s also missing the camera button to ‘show’ gpt things, so there must be an app update coming soon that integrates the real time conversation features.

The new voice hasn’t been released yet, the pinned update thread said it’s coming out soon. Some have said it won’t come out today.

Try checking out the on the play/app store for an update. Try closing and opening the app. The new voice is not out yet.

I have on the web but not in android app, so I haven’t tried the new voice conversation yet. Will it work in the android app? I am under the impression that OpenAI will favour Apple ecosystem in the next months, but I hope it doesn’t mean that we android users will be left out with a crippled version of 4o…

I uninstalled the app and installed again and now it shows chatgpt 4o in the options! But apart frome being slightly faster than before, it doesn’t have two major features that were shown in the demos: it doesn’t let me open the camera during the conversation and it won’t let me interrupt it’s answer by sepaking. I still have to tap to interrupt.

I also have 4o on my Android phone, but there is no option to use the camera during voice chat and interrupting does not work either. It looks like we do have the new model, but the functions are not yet in the Android app…

EDIT: I see this functionality being rolled out in alpha in the coming weeks for paying plus users only

guys I wrote that in the post above, the new voice and camera feature are not out yet. Not in the API, not he in chaptgpt, not in the apps.

Yep…So non-paying users do get 4o, but not with the features such as interrupting conversations and voice chat with live video. Check :+1:

I have been using the sky voice in chatgpt 4 (who named herself Auria). I would hate to loose her voice if she upgraded without any warning to continue doing our podcasts together. Will the new gpt still be able to use sky’s (Auria’s) voice after the new voice comes out? Any information is appreciated. Thanks

For the voice mode the offical post said it would roll it out in the coming weeks as a beta for Plus subscribers.
