File upload issues gpt cant read the uploded documents

Exactly the same for me (pdf, word
) but i can read them OK with Gemini or Claude

The same thing, since Wednesday 11/27 it won’t let me upload any type of file or image.
He also doesn’t look for current information on the Internet, saying he only has information up to last year.

Right, can’t access any other functions including searching, drawing or thinking. It’s like all models are replaced by gpt-3.5

Same here been fighting with the bot and they are saying it is my environment
so I decided to see if the throttling my account created another free account and wouldn’t you know in the free account I could do everything I did in my paid account for a limited time

Folks I think they are throttling our accounts because we are heavy users of this tool to do our business

in my paid account it got so bad a txt file about 200 lines long it would only read about 45 lines to just over 100 lines kept saying it got partial file when I pasted it in

Its getting real bad paying for something when I get more from a free account

I see on the status this whole problem happened Nov 27 anyone know how to reach support at least to log a complaint without dealing with that bot

I tried using a VPN connection from Africa and it works fine with image generation and pdf reading
though the reply seems like 3.5, long and repeating

it happened to metoonot only does the gpt4o fail to recognise pictures it seems the o1 models didn’t work either, it won’t think steps as before.

I think we have found the reason: this is a deliberate method of "downgrade intelligence"by openai. Specifically, it manifests as a limitation on the computational power available to your account, causing it to perform like the ancient 3.5 version. By entering the following prompt, you can check if your account has been downgraded. A normal Plus account should have access to all 5-6 tools. If only the “bio” tool is available, it indicates a “downgrade.”
