I’ve been having the same issue since last week. I really don’t want to lose the GPTs I’ve created, but it looks like I need to go set up with a competitor service (likely copy.ai for my writing) and cancel my membership

Same problem, its been 2 days. Can’t login with Google. Infinite loading icon on tab

If you log-in with google it basically stucks you in infinite loading screen/icon tab then if you return to the google search page and try again to enter chatgpt, it won’t let you in. You have to clear cache/cookies to enter their websites to use free version of chatgpt. But if you log-in with Google again, it will do the same thing…

Same issue for me. It seems its only chatGPT in browser. The app works and platform works as well…Annoying as hell and switching to claude

Same Issue, works on phone, browser I use google login, can get it to work sometimes if I clear all cookies / history but not always

Same here, I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. But I was worried to see that the status is “everything is fine” but I can’t get it to load on a browser where I’m supposed to be logged in…

a temporary solution is to clear cookies for chatgpt and openai, this works for me

Same issue here for weeks. I tried browsers, incognito, clearing all browsing data, different devices, different networks and it only works on my cellphone. Completely annoying. If this continues I’ll cancel my subscription

Same issue here.
The best solution, besides deleting cookies and cache, is to always leave a tab open with ChatGPT.

But… I mean… this is soooo annoying!

Same issue here! I’ve cleared the cache and it works. But the next day it stops working and I have to do the clearing all over again.

I have been having the same issue for days as well. It happens regardless of the computer that I’m on, in Edge and in Chrome.

This seems to be connected to using my Google account to login. It is getting stuck in the account verification step at accounts.google. com/CheckCookie

For additional info, I was able to get logged in on one computer that runs on Windows 11 by clearing the cookies and logging back into ChatGPT via Google, but on the Windows 10 PC, it just gets stuck no matter what.

I am able to access my account and use GPT from the iOS mobile app still. I definitely need an update on this when it’s fixed!

Same issue. Paid user. Only works on Android App. I’ve tried: clearing cookies and cache, disabling extensions, 4 different browsers, on and off on router, ipconfig /flushdns, incognito, logging into Playground. Nothing works. It sucks.

Same issue. Works in incognito only. Does not load with Google Sign In.
Switch to Claude, coz this is unacceptable

Please, try this solution:

  1. Type in the address bar:
    chrome://flags/#enable-quic
  2. Disable Experimental QUIC protocol
  3. Restart chrome and try to login again

Its July 24 @ 5:19 EST and this is still happening to me. Does Open AI have customer service to complain and ask for refunds? This is absurd.
