Chatgpt does not load when I am logged in

I’m a paid chatgpt customer. Since 24 hours ago, when I go to chat. openai. com nothing is loading. This happened suddenly, without me changing anything in my account.

I have tried rebooting, clearing all data (cookies, cache etc), doing that from different browsers and also using incognito mode. Even tried on a different computer and also on my smartphone’s browser. Note that the app still works, but this is not good enough for me, as I need to access my account.

I had one more person in the office experiencing the same and then a few other not experiencing it.

I don’t see any outage alerts in my area either. This is driving me absolutely insane and have lost hours trying to make it work. I cannot even login to cancel my subscription, and if this continues like this, I’ll have to cancel my card, for goodness sake.

Anybody else experiencing this issue? I’ve seen some older similar posts that were closed without any resolution or reasoning.

Check status.openai.com and subscribe for update.

Let’s hope this gets resolved soon!

Hey @vb,

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll be monitoring, let’s hope it gets resolved. I was thinking that it maybe had to do with the outage.

…I’m using Gemini advanced at the moment. I find it kinda like Chat GPT’s mischievous , little brother that thinks it knows it all and speaks ‘sense’ by accident.

Same all morning. Weird that i can log in on my phone app. I can also log in with my personal (free) ChatGPT account.
I have the problem when i try to log in on my computer web browser with my GPT Plus account, which is really the one i need to work.

Same. I can use my phone, but i cannot even got it to load their homepage so i cannot access even the free one. It’s weird because when I checked the site to see if any outages were reported, nothing came up. … i wonder if i need to clear the cache… hmmm. I will try.

I’ve cleared my cache many times already to no avail. I think it is related to specific users, perhaps, not an official outage.

Same here. Paid user with a google log-in. Can’t load on chrome. I was able to get it to work in firefox for a minute but not anymore. App is fine. I cleared my cache, tried different browsers, etc. It’ll load the main site but not if I’m logged in. And it won’t finish logging me in when I try. This has been happening since 7/17 at night I think

By now I’m willing to bet it has to do with the crowdstrike outage! I just hope it is going to get fixed soon.

YES!! Literally 10 minutes ago mine just came on too. No idea what happened…but there is a 4o Mini now :thinking: wonder if this upgrade created disruption?
Anyway, its back up, Im grateful. Thanks

Thanks, its also fixed for me now. But had to clear cache on the browser, I can also see 4o mini.

I am also a paid user and I am facing the same problem for 2 days, that I am able to login using google. Can team Chatgpt guide me what to be done.

This has been a problem., It had resolved, but now it is happening again.

Having same issue, started with 4o-mini rolled out. Tried turning off browser extensions, no cigar.

I went to Safari, and it did work. But after a day, it hangs again like it did on my main browser.

Maybe this is a solution:
I use “BlockSite” chrome add on, when it is turned on, chatgpt won’t load. When I turn the add on off, everything works as they have to!
