Hello OpenAI Team,
I am reporting a critical bug affecting my account’s billing section.
Issue:
After months of paying for ChatGPT Plus, my entire billing history and all invoices have disappeared from the dashboard. When I visit https://platform.openai.com/account/billing, I see “no invoices found,” even though I have been charged monthly from this account and have emails confirming my subscription and its cancellation. I urgently need to download an invoice for accounting/tax purposes, but there is no way to access any billing history or receipts in the panel.
Details:
- I have a full chat history and active (from few weeks free) account, but the billing section is empty.
- I did not receive any invoice or payment confirmation email after each charge.
- This issue started after I cancelled my subscription, but I need access to invoices from previous months.
- The support chatbot is unhelpful and there is no way to contact a human or escalate the issue.
Impact:
This is a serious problem for anyone needing invoices for reimbursement, taxes, or accounting. Every other SaaS provider sends invoices automatically or at least keeps them available for download. The sudden removal of access to billing history is unacceptable and feels like a bug.
Request:
Please restore access to my full billing history and invoices in the dashboard, or at least provide a way to download invoices for past payments. This is essential for business and personal users alike.
