Billing history and invoices disappeared – cannot access/download invoice after months of payments

I am reporting a critical bug affecting my account’s billing section.

Issue:
After months of paying for ChatGPT Plus, my entire billing history and all invoices have disappeared from the dashboard. When I visit https://platform.openai.com/account/billing, I see “no invoices found,” even though I have been charged monthly from this account and have emails confirming my subscription and its cancellation. I urgently need to download an invoice for accounting/tax purposes, but there is no way to access any billing history or receipts in the panel.

Details:

  • I have a full chat history and active (from few weeks free) account, but the billing section is empty.
  • I did not receive any invoice or payment confirmation email after each charge.
  • This issue started after I cancelled my subscription, but I need access to invoices from previous months.
  • The support chatbot is unhelpful and there is no way to contact a human or escalate the issue.

Impact:
This is a serious problem for anyone needing invoices for reimbursement, taxes, or accounting. Every other SaaS provider sends invoices automatically or at least keeps them available for download. The sudden removal of access to billing history is unacceptable and feels like a bug.

Request:
Please restore access to my full billing history and invoices in the dashboard, or at least provide a way to download invoices for past payments. This is essential for business and personal users alike.

This forum is not for discussions related to the ChatGPT, ChatGPT accounts, or ChatGPT billings. Also you are looking to wrong link to find your invoices, The link you shared about OpenAI API usage, not about ChatGPT. To download your invoices on your ChatGPT app, go to:
Settings → Subscription → Manage

To report a problem about your ChatGPT account, or billing you need to contact with OpenAI Help Center and start a chat using widget on bottom-right side of the page with OpenAI support, follow steps below:

1 - Go to ChatGPT and log in with the account you want to use.

2- Go to Help Center and select the Chat widget icon.

3- Click on Messages

4- Click on Ask a question

If u read properly my post, my topic is about bug with empty billing history and I wrote that I contacted chatbot before.

And also u are wrong here: ,To download your invoices on your ChatGPT app, go to:

There is no page like this if u cancel ur subscription.

It is OK, you are not wrong, but you are looking on wrong link.
It is not about ChatGPT billing history, It is about OpenAI API billing history.
They are different.

When you cancel your subscription you cannot see your invoices.
Therefore, I said you should get help from support.

Please follow the steps I showed above.
OpenAI team may help you download your invoices.
