Workspace Deactivated - Payment Issue

I have a business account with 5 seats which I recently (29th April) renewed for another year.
On Monday I added a new seat which I forgot to pay for. Yesterday afternoon I received payment link with a deadline of 17th May. The link throws Void error. When I tried logging into my account, it showed that the workspace was deactivated and to activate it I was prompted to pay for at least 5 existing seats.

I tried reaching to support on email, but they did not understand the issue and were not able to help me. Please suggest what to do.

Everytime i raise a query with support, i get a new case number and a message saying workspace reactivation specialist will reach out to me via email. No one ever does.

Hi @chinmayedme, that’s a rough spot, especially after already renewing the workspace and then getting locked out over 1 added seat. The Void error on the payment link definitely makes this more confusing than it should be.

I’ll take over the case from here so things stay in one thread. To keep the process streamlined, please don’t send a new email to support@openai.com since that creates a separate ticket and can slow things down.
