I’ve encountered this problem. Was it a privacy issue?

I had to provide a website link and prove it was mine to complete my builder profile, once that was done, it took a while but I could publish my GPTs as public. Hope this is helps!

How long did it take? I am having the hardest time trying to figure out how to publish mines as public.

To me… minutes to have validated the domain and consequently the option to make GPTs public.

I had my domain validated days ago and still nothing :sob::sob::sob:. Thank you so much for your response 🫶🏽

Was your GPT published? If so, how long did it take? I’m in the same boat now.

Yes it was not allowing me at first and I added another domain and it all of a sudden worked for me. It was the weirdest thing.

Hi guys, I’ve made a handful of GPTs and they all are allowed to go public, but recently one of them has lost the option to go public and is unchecking the features such as dalle and code interpreter after publishing. It used to have the option, but now it’s simply gone. My other GPTs still have public, but just not this one.
I was wondering if it might have to do with the content, since this one is sort of an entertainment-based image generator that specializes in unsettling clown imagery. I noticed that the GPT 4 built into Bing refuses to reference clowns unless it’s pushed kinda hard. I’m glad to see i’m not the only one seeing this, because it’s just this one GPT of mine.

Same here. I’ve opened a ticket to solve, but anyone knows a thing about it.

Managed to resolve it here. I went into my builder account settings, deleted all references to authenticated domains, and re-did the process with a new TXT file to be saved on the server. I logged into the OpenAI account and added a card for the professional API and then deleted it because I already pay for the personal GPT plan and don’t intend to use the API.

To verify your account and deploy your GPT, you need to do two things: either validate a domain by adding a TXT record to the server or add billing information. In my case, it only unlocked when I did both things simultaneously. Now I can publish my GPTs.

Retoggle the website in the builder profile. It’s openai.

I have the same issue, when click Save, public to “everyone” is grey, not possible to select.
