When I try to upload videos to Sora, the are greyed out in the file selector. Are their file size limits? Are their certain video types that can’t be uploaded? What are the best practices for uploading video to Sora?
The options for a video that has been uploaded are “remix”, “blend”, “loop”. A new generation cannot be based on it.
I expect the video format has to be of the same resolution and frame rate as a supported generation, and with supported length limit to act as an input to these functions. There is no “clip” or “edit” within to make them compatible.
You can download and re-upload a generated video and see if the proper format will show being ungreyed for those functions. That is ready to go for me.
Then there is the issue of people depicted in uploaded media, being blocked at every turn without Pro or “super pro” levels.
Great suggestions. My goal is to upload a video that I shot and use the loop tool to make a perfect loop. It doesn’t have any people in it. The video is longer than 20 seconds and I only have a plus account, so I’ll start by shortening it and see what happens. Thank you!
There’s something else going on. I played with the frame rate and format to match a video that I downloaded from sora, but it still didn’t work. Then as a test I tried to upload the video file that I downloaded from sora and it wouldn’t except that either. The file is greyed out.
