I set up an account in March and added $100 in API credit, which I’ve used lightly since then. However, my account has remained at Tier 1, even though, according to the documentation, it should be Tier 3. I now have an ongoing project that requires greater usage and access to advanced models like o1 and o1-mini, but Tier 1 does not support this level of access. I’m unsure who to contact or how to resolve this to enable a tier upgrade. I tried the help bot on OpenAI’s website, but it wasn’t helpful.
You can contact the “purchase credit” form and put in another dollar or two.
Making a payment is the only time that the calculation is done. If simply time has passed since the first payment, nothing happens.
