Who's applying to Converge 2?

My new company is applying for Converge 2. Anyone else going for the $1m in funding? We already have working code which I hope helps give us a leg up.

The goal of Awarity.ai is to pioneer RAG 2.0. We’ve created a general purpose reasoning algorithm which is the equivalent of map reduce for reasoning. We’re already able to answer complex questions and perform tasks involving thousands of documents in under 5 minutes, The goal for the “awareness engine” we’re building is to be able to reason over millions of documents in under 30 minutes. That seems totally achievable.

you’ll be able to prompt our “awareness engine” like you would any model but it will have a logically infinite context window. so if you want to send it 1m tokens you can. it will efficiently break the prompt into pieces and reason over each part independently. One of my goals is to eliminate the need worry about context window sizes moving forward. This whole problem space is largely just a compression problem.

The “Awareness Engine” looks to be pretty cool! I think I’ll apply too! Maybe something to do with AR and diagnostic imaging. Not sure yet, have to talk it out with my GPT chat buddy… Good luck to all the contestants!

Ive applied with a Multilingual AI assisted healthcare diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education system to help (not replace) doctors and clinicians in disadvantaged or remote communities.

As a support tool for the doctor, it helps avoid misdiagnosis and overcomes language barriers with patients. It also gives similar to english high quality medical results - but in non english languages that the AI has not been trained on. (Eg Hindi, Arabic, Swahili, Tongan, Samoan etc) This is accessing a level of knowledge that these languages cannot use chatgpt for

I constantly get a warning from my Avast software that pages on the OpenAI site are blacklisted as compromised. Is the site safe to use? I’d like to apply but I’m reluctant to engage.

Btw, is there some URL with more detailed guidance around Converge 2 (the application page was fairly simple and high level), such as some indication about the selection criteria (e.g. wouldn’t want to waste time and fully share ideas if there’s zero chance for us to get one of those investments) or FAQ’s or similar?

We haven’t submitted our application. We have until Friday so working on it

We cannot submit the application as the form ends up saying “There was a problem submitting your form. Please try again.”

We are working on a submission as well but wondering if there is a way to amend a submission? The fear is missing a deadline by submitting too close to it due to technical issues on OpenAI’s end.

That’s a good point!
Considering that there will be a lot of applications it’s possible that a large number of requests can bring down the page or the form shortly before deadline.

Personally, in this case I would prepare an email with all the required information and send it when needed with a friendly request to confirm the receipt and entry into the competition.
