Which of the Plus users still don't have access to ChatGPT MacOS App?

Hey so i was waiting to get access for the new ChatGPT App for MacOS but even after 4-5 days, I dont have the acess for the app, even when i have been plus user for a really long time. OpenAI promised to give first access to their new feature to Plus users first but even then people havent gotten access to the features that were announced. Is anyone of the plus users doesnt have the acsess to the app.

Also these are the things still pending

  1. ChatGPT MacOS app not available (at least not for me)
  2. ChatGPT MacOS app doesnt have the features that were annouced in the event, like screen sharing, copying text based content to send it to the app. (people shared about this who have access)
  3. ChatGPT mobile app doesnt have the camera features, nor the GPT 4o model has the same voice features like they showed in the event.

At least if you guys are annoucing new things, give the users a specific date, like when is that feature going to be available and who will have access to it.
I do love what OpenAI is doing with their AI stuff and i personally enjoy using their product being an AI student, but this is a bit disappointing.

yes- MacOs I dont have access to screen view or voice chat, really frustrating , app NOT in the Apple Store

me too, no access… unimpressed with 4o’s lackluster in reality compared to what they demonstrated in their live keynote. cancelling my subscription now… gonna give it another go once it’s matured.

Same here, and now I just read on Toms guide that OpenAI is taking away the sky voice because it sounds too much like Scarlett Johanson. That is just lame.

I still do not have access to the ChatGPT macOS app and I’am subscribed to ChatGPT Plus since ChatGPT-4 was released

I’m not sure how they are trying to roll out this app, I was installed the app using the link was proved on another topic, and today afternoon I saw a notification twice about contain using chatgpt on the app, when I click on it to go to the app, it shows I don’t have access to the app, it’s bizarre.

The announcement (wording) made it seem like Plus subscribers would get access from that day. Paid specifically to get the desktop app but it’s been a week now and I might just refund at this point.

So I’ve found a way to login to the app, see below link, its working,

I think it’s probably because, at first, you log in as a free user, and then it detects that you are a Plus user. So, by quitting the app while it’s loading, we give it time to detect that we are plus users. I noticed this when trying to refresh the page on the web. If you see the model name, at first it’s GPT-3.5, and then after a while, it changes to GPT-4 automatically. Maybe these are related to each other. :blush:
