Weird signup Problem asking for a non-premium phone number

Okay i tried this and still nothing, maybe i do have a premium number and i don’t know…? i don’t know what to do else i think it’s become a lost cause for me.

Edit: in cyprus i use an Epic sim card

are you sure u used the correct country code? try it with 00### and with +###. if it still doesn’t work try changing the country and back to normal. or removing the tab and reopening it

YES, i changed to another country code and then back, i tried 2 zeros, Nothing. Welp now i learnt i can’t use Chatgpt now.

It worked for me when I wrote 00 and then my countycode so for sweden its 46. So I wrote 0046 and then my number and it worked. Hope this helps!

I live in the netherlands and had the same problem
It did not allow to change my country code but simply adding 00 to my phone numebr solved it!! Thnx for the tip

I had the same issue and then tried to add the country code again next to the existing one.
So instead of just writing your number write it down together with the country code, sounds crazy but i got the code this way :))) hope it helps

Hi, solved entering the full number 00598xxxxxxx, in you case 00352xxxxxx

When I search for “AUTHMSG” in SMS (someone on here recommended to do so as that’s the name they use for verification etc.) Thats the exact same name that was used for the app Houseparty in 2020. Not sure how it’s all connected but I was registered on it back then so that could be the reason everyone is having this issue!

This worked for me! Thank you!
But somehow my reply here seems unclear to this forum…

I have the exact same problem here in ‘Lithuania’ with the phone number

Hi all add 00 in front of your number. I did it and it worked. Seems a bug.

Hi, I´m from Panama and I had the same problem, but I was able to solve it. I just tried to use different cellphone numbers, and one of them allowed me to continue.

I do have a Danish premium number, and so what - it’s mine?

100% A BUG - i USED THE full COUNTRY CODE (WITHOUT THE “+”)

I finally found a fix for this, just add two zeros (00) at the beginning of the phone number after the country code.

Please try to add your country code in front of number, i just tried and it works for me i.e. in UAE our country code is 971, so i added this

I followed the 00 advice “country code 00phone number” in my pc. I got the error message. Then I deactivated my vpn, used a different firefox profile, and was successful in the account creation.

Started signing up 10 days ago and I’m still having issues. Using a UK mobile number, I’ve tried starting my number 00447, 007, 447, 7, 044, 004407, 07, basically every combination I can think and I’m still having issues signing up with my number being classed as either a premium or invalid number.

I’ve tried on a desktop using wifi, using chrome and safari, I’ve also tried on my phone using 5g, and to no avail. I’ve tried emailing a week ago and have had no response apart from an auto-responder.

Anyone else from the UK having any luck?
