There was an error adding a bill for the API, two days ago the same network environment and the same card was able to pay $5 successfully, now it won’t pay successfully, but it can go through the credit card verification. I don’t get it. Error message:We couldn’t update your billing plan. If this issue persists, please contact us through our help center at https://help.openai.com

Same issue here - card passes verification, then ‘we couldn’t update your billing plan’. I’m in the UK in case that’s relevant.

I successfully added $10 to my account a few hours ago. Sweden.

Same error for today in Taiwan. Ask friends in America to try, still get the same error.
Tried 4 credit cards, 3 diff openAI account.

STILL FAILED!!

I too have been having this problem since last evening. I keep getting a 500 internal server error.
