Verify organization UI doesn't work

When I click verify organization, Nothing happens. After few tries I see a loading window that never completes and the error (too many requests). There is no workaround for me now. I cannot use Open AI API now (any model). I use chrome Version 141.0.7390.123 and MacOS 12.3.1 (21E258).

I had this exact problem today too. A bit later , the UI opened an empty window and just sat there. Now, it’s showing the persona link, but every time the link is:

Then the “start verification” process just keeps saying “Session Expired”

I’ve seen a lot of threads aobut the “session expired” problem, so I tried inviting another acount as an owner. That seemed to work for some people, but I still get “Session Expired” on the new user also.

When the page loads I see this multiple times in the dev console, and I suspect it’s related:
GET https://api.openai.com/v1/dashboard/organizations/inquiry/TRUSTED_ORGANIZATION 404 (Not Found)

So…I got it working. No idea how, just lots of trying over and over, different browsers, logging in/out - I fundmentally didn’t change anything, and eventually it returned a valid “inquiry-id” and I was able to verify.

Same problem here…

It’s loading and nothing happend

I’m stuck here

Same problem. My GPT 5 says the ONLY way is to regenerate a new persona link from the support agents and the guys sends me this BS boilerplate.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to OpenAI Support and for your detailed follow-up.

I understand how inconvenient it must be to experience repeated session timeouts during the organization verification process, especially when this is delaying your access to GPT-4-Turbo and GPT-5 models. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this.

You can try generating a new Persona verification link by clicking on “Verify Organization” again, then selecting the refresh icon. Opening this new link should start a fresh session and allow you to begin the verification process again. If the issue persists or the verification still does not complete, it’s possible that the attempt was unsuccessful.

If your verification wasn’t successful

Your organization may not yet be eligible to access models that require verification. Verifications can fail for several reasons, including:

  • The ID is expired, blurry, or missing information

  • The portrait photo doesn’t match the submitted selfie

  • The document isn’t government-issued

  • A scan, screenshot, or digital copy was submitted

  • The ID was used to verify another organization within the past 90 days

  • A technical issue occurred during submission

  • The ID or organization details don’t match your account

  • Your organization doesn’t currently meet eligibility requirements

At this time, retries are not supported, but you can continue using OpenAI’s platform with your current level of access.

If verification isn’t currently available

You can continue using OpenAI’s existing models and features. Some advanced models may become available to all organizations in the future without requiring verification.

Somehow mine resolved today! Not sure by who’s hand but thanks!

Thanks all for reporting this. The team is currently making improvements to the verification flow. This can take a little time to fully roll out, but once the updates are live, you should be able to retry the verification and complete the process without issues!

I’m having the same problem.

Hi everyone! We just fixed the latest org verification issue. If you're still unable to get verified, please retry clicking “Verify Organization” and let us know how it goes. Thanks for your patience here.
