Same for me. Verified last week, got green checks on the verification site, then nothing on OpenAI’s end.
Now I see the “We recently fixed an issue affecting verification. Please try verifying your organization again.” notification in Org settings, but I’m still not verified, and trying to verify again just gets me a “Session Expired” error, with no way to request a new link (cause the button is broken)
Just adding another confirmation of the exact same behavior. Succeeded with Persona, never seems to get acknowledged from openai side, now I only get Session Expired if I try again.
I’m here to add my name to the growing list of people having this issue. I ran into the EXACT same problem as the OP. I went through the verification process SUCCESSFULLY and received the green checkmark with the “Congratulations, you’re done” message from Persona, only to have virutally NOTHING change on my account. I did everything the other articles and AI told me to do:
Waited 30 minutes for my account status to update
Added a new API key to try and refresh my status
Added a new person to the organization to try and refresh my status
I’ve tried to start a ticket with support but they haven’t been helpful at all, at the end of my last interaction, the support person suddenly shifted tone and replied as though I had “failed” verification, even though I had already stated multiple times that the verification was successful with Persona.
This sends a clear message that OpenAI just doesn’t care about it’s customers.
This has been going on for months. I just want to know why it still is a problem. Today one of my clients couldn’t verify so I can’t deliver our product. Do better please! And to be clear they were verified and then NOTHING from OpenAI.
I waited 24 hours and it did not go through. It worked for another client a month ago when I helped them and now I am left powerless. So I am just going to charge the client for the API use through my own org. I am sorry that this doesn’t help you but OpenAI has serious issues on this front.
What you can try is go through the same process with a different email. Sign up to OpenAI API and try again…and it might work. It sometimes does. This…until someone from OpenAI decides to dig in and fix this critical issue. All they have to do is give people multiple shots on goal here! So frustrating because this should be the easy part of this whole process!

please before enforcing verification and putting 90 Days wait time, make sure your system works fine!
