I’m currently subscribed to the ChatGPT Plus plan ($20/month), which, as per the description, should provide access to features like web browsing, file uploads, and Advanced Data Analysis (ADA). Despite this, I’m only seeing models like GPT-4o and GPT-4 legacy that do not seem to include these functionalities.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
• Cleared my cache and cookies.
• Checked multiple browsers and even tried incognito mode.
• Looked for the Help widget on the Help Center, but couldn’t find any way to directly submit a request or access further support beyond basic FAQs.
Has anyone else encountered this problem or found a way to enable these features properly? Is there a direct method to contact support (since the Help Center is lacking in that regard)?
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated! I’m based in Ireland
Hi!
Have you checked the “Customize ChatGPT” settings to see if these features are active?
Also, there should be a model selector drop-down arrow right next to the name of the currently selected model.
Hi, thanks for your response. I see settings but no “customize ChatGPT” settings related to these features. Where would I find this? There is a model selector but only with the following models; 4o mini, 4o, o1 preview, o1 mini and 4 (legacy model)…
If you can select any of the models listed, then your account is on Plus.
You can find the customization settings by clicking on your profile avatar at the top right corner of the screen (web app). You will have to scroll down to the bottom of the overlay box.
On the Android mobile app, you can access them by first tapping the two horizontal lines at the top left of the screen, then tapping your avatar, and selecting “Personalization.” A ‘Customizations’ toggle will appear at the top of the next screen. I assume this is similar to the iPhone app.
Much appreciated. Thank you.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to change, still can’t analyse documents and can’t ask it to review websites. I used to be able to. Perhaps it is location related? I am based in Ireland. Very frustrating.
