Publishing and sharing GPT

Dear community,

I am on the Pro plan currently and I am running in the following problem:
I just built my first GPT (really excited about it) and would like to invinte someone else to work on it with me (who is also on the Pro plan). My new GPT is listed with an “Only me” lock icon. When I try to edit the GPT there is no option for sharing or anything. What can I do?

Secondary question: how can I publish my GPT?

(I could not find any clear answers in other topics here or in the documentation)

Many thanks

Just click share and change how you have it set.

The only you lock icon is a draft you have not saved yet.
This ansewer is for both questions. :honeybee:
The window above is how you save custom GPT. Welcome to the forum :rabbit::heart::infinity:
You have to do it on browser on mobile or computer. But app can’t edit custom GPT.

Here is what it looks like for me. I only have the 3 dots button under which I only have the option to delete the GPT. :frowning:

Click create. :honeybee::rabbit::infinity::heart::four_leaf_clover:
See it’s a draft click create then publish it.

See until you click create it’s a draft and that screen pops up.

Click create

Choose how you want to publish it.

Good luck. I’m sure that will fix it :rabbit::honeybee::infinity::heart::four_leaf_clover:

In that screenshot, you have yet to press “create”. The GPT is still in draft form.

This can be confusing as any initial modifications to start making a GPT will add it to your own “My GPTs” listing, without any indication of this draft state.

Press “create”. You will have a choice there.

The “create” or “configure” tab has a poor UI pattern, BTW. It is not disabled when it is greyed; you can still click on that to see the text fields and the profile image, or to talk to the GPT builder that will erase all the instructions with its own rewrite.

Multiple attempts to publish with content or images that are disallowed by safety or policy detection can make a GPT unshareable and blocked. You would have to abandon the GPT ID and try again.

Your bot is cute J, I once made an introvert extrovert. @_j is :100: correct just click that create button and select how you want to publish it and it will fix it, so you can share it.

J always adds valuable insights :rabbit::heart::infinity:
