My Custom GPT only shows Only Me in sharing!

Hello,
I built my first Custom GPT, but whenever I try to set my shring option to (Anyone with link) or (GPT Store) it returns back to (Only Me). Should I do something or is this a temporary bug?

Hey everyone,
The solution is much simpler than we thought.

When you change the visibility status, you should not click the Update button.

Whenever you edit your GPT, the system automatically switches it to Draft to block public access. That part is normal. You can safely update your GPT while it’s in Draft.

But when you later change the visibility status, you don’t need to click Update again—the system applies that change automatically. If you press Update afterward, you’ll trigger the same loop again.

There’s no need to duplicate your GPT or anything like that. The interface is just visually confusing, and it makes you think the system is asking you to update the GPT—even though it isn’t!

Just switch the visibility status and wait a moment; your GPT will come back online without any extra steps.

I’m still having issues with the GPT image, though…

On the ‘Create’ tab of your custom GPT, upload a suitable icon, that does NOT contain any text, followed by the prompt: ”Use the <FName.jpg> file I just uploaded, as the image for this Custom GPT” Example Below: ChatGPT will update the image. This worked for me today, on this Custom GPT. [image]
