Please help — my long-time account was deactivated, I believe by mistake

Hi @OpenAI_Support,

I’m hoping a human can look at my case. I’ve been a loyal user for about two years — Plus for a long time, Pro for several months, and I also use the API. ChatGPT is a huge part of my daily work, and this account holds years of important projects and history.

A couple of days before my account was deactivated, I suddenly started getting repeated “rate limit exceeded” errors, even when I was working alone. Then my account was deactivated for a Terms violation. I honestly never used ChatGPT for anything against your Usage Policies — all my work is legitimate.

I travel from time to time and I’ve used ChatGPT from different countries while traveling, which I understand is allowed. If something about my usage looked unusual, I promise it was innocent, ordinary personal use, and I’m happy to verify that I’m a genuine, long-term user.

My appeal was rejected with an automated “final decision” reply, without any real explanation. Please — could a person re-review my account? I really don’t want to lose two years of work.
