As much as I find this frustrating, I can’t help but find the situation a bit comical. I mean, it’s not every day that you pay for a service and end up receiving the free version anyway.
I kindly request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible. I understand that technical issues can arise, and I trust that the OpenAI team will do everything in their power to rectify this situation.

Same issue — expired subscription, added new payment method, got charged, paid invoice shows in my account, can’t access Plus account and indicates I should upgrade to Plus. Have reported this thru multiple channels and no response from OpenAI.
Exact same issue. I’ve tried online support, Discord, and support@ email. No response or even acknowledgement this is a problem.
I also spent $40 thinking it was a bug on my end
Just putting it here I got double-charged and there is no reply from OpenAI on this issue.

Got doubled charged too and no reverting on the mails from their support team.
I have the exact same issue. I paid a couple of days ago and as of now, I still don’t have access.
It has been 4 days and I have heard no reply or solution yet. Bumping this so that the devs or support could see this.

Same here too! I’ve sent an email to the support address today. I followed up again, hoping they will respond. I also sent an email to Link (Stripe) who handle the payment gateway and see what they say. Hoping to update you all here once I have the update.

Another alternative is to charge them a response through Discord. OpenAI
I’m having the same issue for 5 days now. My subscription expired on 23th and I never noticed. To this day i’m still on the free plan.
Is there a way to contact them? I tried to do so but it seems like their customer service is non-existant.
Mine was resolved in less than 24 hours. The method I tried to contact OpenAI:
- Go to https://platform.openai.com/
- Click “Chat with us” at the bottom of the page
- Follow the prompts to describe your issue
- Be clear and concise in your description, providing as much information as possible
