Well now the upgrade is disabled (at least for me). the reason given is “due to high demand” . I think it’s a signal they have noticed there’s problem and started to fix it maybe? not sure it’s good news or not but at least the system has some changes.
Please take a look at mine account… I cant use it as PLUS for more than a week,

Hi, I use Google sso to access gpt. Same problem. What does that message from Discord mean as a fix?
No they didn’t. Seems that there is no compensation for the time I’ve been waiting. I refresh the page and find that the plus version showed up.
I have just logged in to ChatGPT and notice this. Apparently we can’t even give them money for free now. Is this good or bad? Oh and I am still on the free plan.
Me too. I sent an email to support 3 days ago and so far no response. It seems very much like they’ve punted and are hoping for divine intervention of some sort.

I thought I found a clue, but it wasn’t about the plus service, it was related to the gpt api chat and I still don’t have access to the plus service like everyone else.
I think the help section chat bot has been upgraded to include ChatGPT Plus access issue. There is also a new help article written with regards to the problem we are facing. Another article states that OpenAI are aware of the issue.

I tried the chatbot again. I provide it with the email address associated with my ChatGPT account, and a background of the issue. Bot responded that they will communicate over email with me. I am hoping this will work.
Will report back if it works.
The Help system is not giving me the option to address my issue, it only gives me these options. There is no option “I paid for Plus but are receiving the Free version, for days now”. There is also no “open a ticket” . There is simply no option to address my issue to support. Why is everyone then pointing to help.openai.com ??
Briefly regained access to plus yesterday, woke up to find that it’s gone today… seriously?!
Actually I can see this new option “I need help with a billing issue” when clicking on “Upgrade to Plus”
But unfortunatelly I’m not able to find the “Unable to access ChatGPT Plus” under the “Billing” menu:

Check the chat window in the bottom right. You can find “Billing” and “unable to access …” there
