I had a GPT that was doing quite well (was ranked 13 in Research and Analysis category) and all of a sudden after 6 months of it being live with no issues, My GPT got hit with a terms of service violation? I went to appeal it and it has been about 3 weeks already with no word of anything. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there even anyone actively looking at the appeals? My gpt “Trading Assistant” is a GPT that helps analyze stocks and charts easily for people that are into investing. It helps with research and is not intended to give financial advice.

Did you try to resubmit it to see if it will go back into store and if not it should tell you why.

Ah I canceled the appeal and tried to revert back to a different version and it did tell me why it was taken off, my gpt is not meant to give financial advice, more as a tool to be used for investment research so I added a disclaimer for now and resubmitted an appeal~ Hopefully this works, thanks for the advice/

I had similar situation. My GPTs is used to be No.12 in the lifestyle category, but it got block without any clear reason, and it also didn’t response my appeal for quite a long time, not sure what to do next. Feels frustrated.

Try to resubmit it to store they should tell you why it won’t pass review.

I wonder who moderates this space. I am a new developer who is coming into this space. Was posting and interacting, trying to collaborate around.
Then my threads and replies started to get flagged and removed as if treated as a malicious member and spam. I wonder why ?
Ain’t designing apps that calls on APIs , (especially those that are only available via APIs) allowed ?

Mine ended up getting banned again but the frustrating part is if it just told me accurately what was wrong I could fix it and appeal once to have it approved again, for the past week I have been re appealing while just constantly getting denied without me knowing the exact reason why other than that it is still violating the gpt store rules… I have to read in between the lines of every rule, assume everything, fix the gpt based on assumptions and then re appeal. It’s very inefficient and doesn’t make much sense for both sides.

I am not a coder unfortunately, even my gpt is just a bunch of markdown format instructions. I did get approved today to be back on the store but I am not ranked #11 anymore unfortunately for research and analysis, no rank at all. will have to figure out a resolution for that as well.

This is a question of ethics. If your simulation and analysis are based on dummy data, that would not raise any alerts. However, if you are using live data to be analysed, the ethical frameworks of Chatgpt may start to flag your thread. Chatgpt coded an ethical framework to avoid misuse, unfair advantages, and violation of IP rights.
Hilariously, an actually deceptive GPT claiming to be Suno AI V4 has taken your spot as number 13 in research and analysis now.
What is this rank about ? Why do you mind your ranking so much ? Is there any incentive behind it ?
The rank in the gpt store helps show your custom gpt on the front page if it is 12 or above~ usually if its 14 or above globally it will show as top 12 regionally. it brings more traffic from people viewing the gpt store page.
