"Model not Found" error in Chat on my account

get “model not found” error in chat, the problem occurs on both web and mobile app, but the mac desktop app works fine. Work mode also works fine on all platforms. I tested it using another free plan account, and everything worked as expected.

I’ve met exactly the same problem. Chat mode is broken on all platforms, but codex and chatgpt work are both working well. And I can get normal replies in chat mode if I do not log in or use another free plan account.

Hi friend, I have also met this issue, have it been solved?

update: after talking to the official AI support, it said that there were no relevant official problem identified, so it might be subscription update or security check problems of the account. It suggested me log out, reset password with the email, activate MFA (which means adding a second authentication method or something), log out of all devices and sign in again. This is the only method I haven’t tried yet, I hope it works.

Edit: nope, it does not solve the problem.

chatgpt is expericing a new issue today and still working on it (https://status.openai.com/). I saw other users also report similar problems, so I’m not sure if this is the cause, although openai said chatgpt can work normally

This happens because your browser’s time zone doesn’t match your IP address, which makes ChatGPT flag your connection as suspicious. Just install a Chrome extension to change your browser’s time zone to match your IP address, then refresh the page.

I used to face a problem when I use chatgpt. I sent a message to it,and it returned a message “model not found”. And then I refreshed the page, the problem has not handled yet. The following text was the log of the page:
Executing inline script violates the following Content Security Policy directive ‘script-src ‘sha256-5OnC/c0sEfhMMvQuXMcrgJR+ftu16IOuoBLhR1w0rLA=’ ‘self’ A link ‘unsafe-eval’’. Thanks a million man, I reset the time zone for my computer and it recovered

my browser timezone matches my IP, so maybe that won’t work for me, still thanks for your advice! btw my chatgpt is working again on both browser and mobile, but I didn’t do anything :joy:
