Chat GPT is not working for me. Anything I type produces the error "
Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com."
I have seen other posts on this topic, so let me make it clear as to what I’ve done and what my situation is like.
-I have used multiple different browsers on this laptop and still produce the same error.
-I don’t use a vpn
-It works on my mobile
I have refreshed, cleared browser cookies and reverted to default settings
-I’ve updated windows to current version
-I’ve reset firewall settings to default
I’m having the same issue. The AP works from my phone, but I get the “something went wrong” error on both Chrome and Edge. I’ve tested in incognito mode and on my work and home networks.
some problem here since yesterday. Today any input will generate “something went wrong”-error on all Desktops (Windows 10 & 11). surprisingly, on Smartphone (Android) ChatGPT works without the error.
Cleaning Browser Cache doesnt solve the Problem, reload pages even not.
Location is Germany.
Any Idea?
very interesting: I´ve installed now Firefox on Windows and it works! Will see, how long.
My windows based computer at work is win10 and Kaspersky endpoint solution. At Chrome & EDGE ChatGPT it doesn´t work. I installed Firefox this afternoon on my Office-PC: No Problem any more. At home i tried working with EDGE & Chrome like usual. No problem at all. Have here Bitdefender. Possible Kaspersky make the problems?

I have been receiving this message for the past 2 hours on my computer: ‘Something went wrong. If this issue persists, please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com.’ I don’t use a VPN, and I have cleared my browser cache, but I still get this message. However, it works fine on my phone. Is there any solution?
