I havent been able to use my account for the last 12hrs, model not found error shows up every time, How can I fix it?

Your report “only on my account” makes solving this easy - use that other account that you used to verify this issue.

You don’t give enough information to even know if you are talking about ChatGPT (the subscription consumer chatbot) or API (the developer platform), let alone the model, the method of using it, and the error being received.

Model not found error message

I opened up a chat that I had used about a month ago to create an Excel macro. I wanted to make a couple of modifications to that macro. But after reopening that chat, everything I enter gets a “Model not found” error. [A notification with a red warning icon displays "Model not found," alongside a "Retry" button and options for copying, thumbs up, and thumbs down feedback. Well Here, We Cannot select model until a new message is generated. And your point to attach screenshot is disabled. However back on topic. The problem is arising due to coversation_id which is handled server side. For anyone who tried to regenerate response from "Model Not Found" error, there is an exact error locating - Regeneration Must need a conversation_id. In console
POST file: kavujovo5fgk59au.js:102, line no. 102. ChatGPT on incognito mode (no account) shows no error. Therefore specific users might have faced similar problem. I hope OpenAI would consider it accounting and hope to get it solved!! Thank You!

That’s been happening to me as well, and I must say, I am very curious. This screenshot shows the error message after I had gotten the “model not found” error. Only when I put it into reasoning mode (“Think for longer”) it had worked. I asked Chatgpt and it didn’t know itself. I have not really read any other chats in this tab, I just came here to report this issue.
