Missing "Personalization" section and "Memory" settings

Could anyone explain to me why in ChatGPT settings in my paid plus account I still do not have a “Personalization” section and still have no “Memory” settings?

Same problem. :frowning:
Did you fix it?

No, unfortunately.
Seems that it depends on a user’s region.
And it looks like there are first sort regions and others, the second sort.
If so - then I suppose it is disrespectful and offensive.

I can try to explain by quoting the blog post regarding the memory feature:

We are rolling out to a small portion of ChatGPT free and Plus users this week to learn how useful it is. We will share plans for broader roll out soon.

Also hoping to hear more soon. This could be fantastic for project work.

@paveltrojak , @vb
Can’t you believe in it?
Today I have got the memory settings finally.
Thanks to all!

This was posted on Twitter by OpenAI:

Memory is now available to all ChatGPT Plus users. Using Memory is easy: just start a new chat and tell ChatGPT anything you’d like it to remember.

Memory can be turned on or off in settings and is not currently available in Europe or Korea. Team, Enterprise, and GPTs to come.

“Memory is now available to all ChatGPT Plus users.

Memory … is not currently available in Europe or Korea.”

Do they understand themselves, what they post?
I’m in Europe, and I’ve got the memory recently.

The tweets from the official OpenAI accounts go through a whole cascade of checks and double checks before ‘approval’.
But there’s still potential to the upside, I guess.
I am located in Europe by the way.
