Login fails in iOS and macOS app

I once signed up for ChatGPT using my existing Microsoft account. Through the browser/web app everything works just fine. But if I want to login through the iOS app on my iPhone or through the macOS app on my M1 MacBook, I always get the error shown in the attached images.
Sign in failed - There is a problem with your request. (401, 8be2f1243886933-FRA)

In the meantime it also switched from FRA to MUC.

getting the same error, both apps on iphone and mac worked, but after changing to another email-adress this problem occurs. Error comes just by pressing a login button, same on mac. Restarting, deinstalling, … nothing helps… this is sad

Exactly the same for me. Have you tried it on different devices that you have never installed ChatGPT on before?

Same issue with MRS instead of FRA. When I tried chatting with ChatGPT, it shown an error “unusual device activity” with a similar code. I logged out wanting to re-login to see if it’d fix it but now I can’t even login.

Hi, yes tried on my ipad, but get the same 401 error. Login via web works fine.
seems to be an issue between apple and openai… shame you pay a lot and now i can‘t use the app

Anyone with an area code outside of Europe? Would be interesting to see if this is limited to a certain region or if it’s worldwide.

Same problem here only on iOS on all my devices on 17.6.1 no matter if you use a browser (Firefox) or the app to access. With the app as from the screenshot u may not even insert the username by any method.

Is it may be an issue specific to Italy? Anyone from outside Italy ?
