Same here. I wasn’t aware of the 24hr message limit ? My work session has come to an abrupt halt. Hope it’s just an error that will be fixed and we don’t have to wait 24hrs to continue

2 message and limited for 24h (3.5 AND 4 (!!!)). I’m premium user too…

seriously though, at least provide an indicator how many messages we’ve send - instead of counting. a next step would be to notify us when we’re near limit.
edit: thinking back… it’s quite hard to keep track if you edit previous messages (prompts) as it will clear all message that have been send after the edit.
I think this community is actively adding new users by the minute because of this issue.
I went to OpenAI Help Center and reported this as a bug. added screenshot as well.
I am feeling very sad due to a bad user experience.
I don’t believe that this is a bug; it seems that this is a change of policy or a test to see how will the people react to that.This explains why they changed to write on the tab if chatgpt 3.5 “available to free and users” instead of what was written before that chatgpt plus users have unlimited access to model 3.5 (I don’t remember the exact words)
I got this problem an hour ago and went to this exact page and no one had messaged anything for a month until now. I am shocked that everyone is getting this problem at the very same time.
Can’t believe that I pay for the plus user plan just a few day and meet this bad user experience, considering if change the plan back to a normal user…
First I thought OpenAI is down.
Can not believe I reached the cap since I have not used even 25 message last 24 hr.
Then tried Android app. Showed me messages to check my Network Connection.
How irrelevant an Error message can be???

“You’ve reached our limit of messages per 24 hours. Please try again later.”
Being a plus user, it is quite outrageous.
The same, limited for 24h 3.5 & 4…
yesterday: Cloudflare error code 10xx (temp Access denied), 10 min later works perfect.
I know it is not fair to get such a message when we pay for plus service. But just calm down and see what will happen. I am also stuck about my job and hope will be solved soon.
