I am a ChatGPT Plus member, and my payment status is all normal. However, I have encountered an issue: when I log in to ChatGPT through the Chrome browser on my Windows system, it is unable to read files, process images, or generate images. However, I can still use advanced features like the O1 Preview model, and I can perform web searches.
This issue started occurring three days ago, even though everything worked fine for the past two years. When I log in to ChatGPT via the iPhone app, all advanced features work without any problems.
I also tried using the Edge browser, but the issue persists and has not been resolved.
I’m not sure what the problem is. I have already tried logging out and logging back in, as well as clearing all browser cache, but none of this has fixed the issue. I also checked the OpenAI Status website, and there are no reported errors there. I’m not sure what else to try or where to get help. Thank you.
I also encounter the same situation. Until I sent this comment, my gpt 4, gpt 4o, gpt with canvas, o1-mini and o1-preview are all unable to parse the uploaded pdf, txt, etc. Actually it acts like I haven’t uploaded the file. However, the customized GPTs can still parse uploaded files and run python code online(except those created by GPT team).
Exactly same problem too. I am very disappointed right now. I send many email to support team and tell exactly what is happening. They told me to do clean your browser and some stuff but none not them can’t solve my error. So it is the problem for ChatGPT to solve all of us immediately.
I checked its not about OS, network or Browser. It does not work on Linux, Windows or even Mac. Does anyone has other ways to contact support? Ive tried in the Help section but they only say “We are currently invetsigating”. I think everyone with the problem should everyday contact support to preassure them to improve service. Please if u know other ways to contact support let me know.
GPT is unable to process images and responds with a message like this: “It seems like an image was uploaded, but I can’t directly extract or view images. Could you describe the image or share the text you’d like help with?”
Additionally, the O1-preview and O1-mini are not functioning properly.
