Is the API is prepaid only?

I have been seeing the problems with the insufficient quota problems and am having them aswell, someone mention something that alarmed me. they said that they’ve received an email that informed them that the account will be prepaid and isn’t getting bill at the end of the month. I haven’t received this email but I fear this will be the new standard especially because of this mass problem that’s going around, any clarification from the team on this would be greatly appreciated thanks in advanced.

I haven’t used the API much on my personal account (I use mainly business one), and my personal account was already switched to the prepaid billing. It’s not bad change - on my personal account i prefer to prepaid and make sure I won’t exceed this limit by accident.

I would understand that but I have prepaid credits as well and still can’t use my api, It has to be server issue.
