I have a greyed-out "send" button so I can't use ChatGPT at all. I got no message alerting me of restrictions. I also have ChatGPT plus. Anyone know what might be going on?

I had this issue once, the way I fixed it was by clearing my cache/site data if that doesn’t work try disabling any new extensions. Those are just my two possible fixes for the issue.

I faced the same problem for 2 days, I’m able to solve it by removing the unnecessary Chrome plugins and hard reloading browser … you guys should try this and comment it works for all.

If you are on a metered network upload button is greyed out automatically on browser. I solved it by turning off “metered network” option from network settings

I’ve faced this issue too and I think it’s a bug.
I managed to find a way around it but it kept getting greyed out again after a while of usage.

It is because I’m using it to customize my writing.
And it has to be similar to what I’ve generated previously.
Thus, what I did was copying the previous conversations to serve as a history.

Pasting the “History” into a new chat.
It will work fine for a while before it gets greyed out again.
Then I’ll create another new chat.

For me the reason it was greyed out was because I used a picture and since I was on the free plan I needed to wait till a certain time to continue the conversation.

EXPLICITLY because i had used a picture.

Ussually it would downgrade me do GPT 3 but since i had an image it stopped me.

This is later, it works now. Will remember to make a new chat for images so that the earlier messages are usable.

The send button is disabled and don’t want to refresh or reload the page and share the same info again and again.

same thing happening to me. Its on my other 2 openai accounts as well. everything was tried. it just doesnt work.

I removed the wordtune (an AI spellcheck Chrome plug-in) and this issue was fixed.

HERE IS THE SOLUTION THAT WORKED 100%.

Hit cancel subscription button and subscribed to other “AI” chatbot. Tshh such a clever way of forcing users to pay for a service that only works on the phone but “magically” stopped working on PC/Web. :-1:
