Today I just found out that I can get $2500 in OpenAI Credits, but I don’t know the application URL. I Googled and found: https://openai.com/microsoft-for-startups, but the page shows a 404 error.
You can apply via the following page
This seems to be for applying for Azure Credits, and there are only 1000 or 5000 Credits available. I didn’t see 2500 Credits.
You will get access to a broader set of benefits if accepted to the Microsoft Founders Hub. This includes $2,500 OpenAI API credits (valid for 6 months) and separately Azure credits (amount depends on the level you are in in the Hub), which you can also apply towards Azure OpenAI studio and other LLMs available via Azure.
Beyond this also many other benefits such as free licenses or trials for certain Microsoft and other products and services, geared towards helping you advance and mature your start-up.
Did you receive an email from OpenAI after the credits are approved?
It indeed seems to be no longer listed. That could indicate that OpenAI no longer grants these free credits or that there are some changes underway.
However, you still have the option to access OpenAI models via Azure OpenAI studio using your Azure credits.
Finally I see someone confirming this. I was struggling to find the OpenAI credits in the Benefits section.
The help centre of both Mfst and OpenAI couldn’t shed any light on this change as well.
So, accessing the OpenAI models via Azure OpenAI Studio is the only way now to go forward??
Yes, I believe so. It’s been gone for a while now.
