Currently I see two organizations when login to platform.openai.com - e.g. Personal and Dummy
I want to delete one of the organization - “Dummy”.
I have been searching in the help center and it looks like there is no way to delete an organization. Is that true? How can I delete organization - “Dummy” ?
You can neither delete nor add an organization.
“personal” was added to many older organizations, so that there would still be a “backup” if a main company organization changed account that was “owner”.
The closest you would get would be to make another login account also an “owner” of an org by invitation—then they would be able to demote you to “reader” or completely remove your access, taking the payment method and billing details with them as well, though.
Consider keeping “dummy” around, or renaming it “future” for when you expand your business ventures.
