I need to request a refund and the generic information provided to other users doesn’t work. How do I contact the support team for a refund when there is no ability to locate a support team?
You’d use “help” in platform.openai.com to send “messages” and then wait.
If you read the terms and conditions, there are no refunds. The monetary transaction is complete when your money is turned into something that is not money that does not come out of OpenAI except as AI tokens.
So you would have to make an extraordinary case for escalation for refund, that does not exist for the first-level support. For example, fraud and theft being perpetrated against your banking funds by an unaccountable accounting system.
