I was logged in with account_1 with which i was facing the issue (invalid url); after buying a new subscription for account_2, i am able to use GPT-4 on account_2 (account_1 is still not working)
Does yours?
Maybe itâs because the official OpenAI Status page says everything is absolutely fine, coupled with no comms from OpenAI on the issue, but a considerable chunk of users seem to be having issues and have had no comms about it.

I have been trying to use it all morning (and am a paid subscriber) and kept getting the same error - NOW it tells me I have used up my 25 allotted per hour and have to wait 3 hours??? That is insane! I havenât been able to use it at all so now I am penalized for their error? Sheesh

I started getting the same error this morning in GPT 4 (while 3.5 is working fine). Extensions donât seem to be the issue. Removing all my Chrome extensions does nothing to fix the problem, it also isnât working in Safari, and itâs also stopped working on my iOS devices.
PLEASE, everyone experiencing this error write to support@openai.com. Itâs clearly not a full system-wide outage, so we need to do what we can to help flag attention to the problem.

I guess extensions is not the problem. My androidâs chrome donât have any extensions. Itâs not working in chrome also

Subscribers get 25 replies in every 3hours from GPT4. If you have got 25 replies, It offers you to either wait 3hours(from the time you got the 1st reply) or change the model. Thatâs why youâre getting this error.
Btw can you make a new chat and get reply from GPT4? Is it working?

I get that - but I was unable to get it to do anything - I kept getting the error - and kept retrying it - but it never did anything â so I technically didnât use 25 replies - it never worked â now I am told I have to just come back later - to allow others to try it â that is ridiculous â I want everyone to try it - but I also want it to work since that is what I am paying for - I shouldnât be penalized with a time out because it wasnât working

Your issue seems odd. Try opening a new thread with snapshots.
I have the same issue.
It seems ânormalâ with that error. It means the script counting the number of time you wrote to GPT-4 is independent from this error.
The way the code is made is simply counting the number of time you must be clicking on âSendâ and not the number of replies you received.
I agree with you it is odd. At the same time, if people receiving error keep spamming, it is not gonna help OpenAI solve the problem. It will only raise new problems.
