I’ve been experiencing frequent issues with file uploads in ChatGPT. Despite trying all recommended troubleshooting steps, such as:
- Clearing browser cache
- Switching browsers
- Logging out and back in
- Renaming the file
- Changing networks
- Even using a different device and mobile 5G network
…the file upload still fails repeatedly.
Earlier today, I was able to upload the exact same file successfully without any problems. However, over the last 3 hours, attempts to upload the same file result in failure.
Error Feedback
When I attempt the upload, I receive an alert stating that the error is “unknown.” However, the message displayed on the screen says:
“The file uploaded earlier has expired and is no longer available. Please upload the file again if you need me to review or analyze it. I’m here to help!”
Additional Context
This issue happens very frequently, making it difficult to proceed with tasks requiring file uploads. Is there a known fix or ongoing effort to resolve this?
