Create Personal GPT Bug - Correction

Hello, I have created several customized GPTs, and everything was working fine until now. However, on one of them, when I upload PDF documents and update it, the GPT becomes empty.

I tried with other documents: some work, and others don’t. Could it be a problem with the PDF size or maybe a format issue?

Thank you.

Oh, I encountered this problem a long time ago. If your PDF document contains many images with low clarity, it won’t be uploaded. You can try to perform OCR recognition on the content of the PDF document in advance and then put it back into the PDF. I hope this can help you!

Thanks for the link but my pdf is only 26 mo so … I don’t understand.

Ah yes, I hadn’t thought of that, I’ll check it out. Thanks, I’ll keep you updated.

I took the elements from the pdf, copied them and pasted them into a word document, then converted them into pdf without the imafes, and it doesn’t work… I’m fed up.

finally after deleting the gpt and restarting it worked, I don’t know if it was a bug but there you go.

By the way, OpenAI Support answered me that. If it can help you with similar bugs in the future:

Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

  1. Retry the request later – this often solves the problem.
  2. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
  3. If you’re using a VPN, try disabling it.
  4. Try using an incognito window or a different browser/computer. Sometimes, a security add-on or extension can cause this type of error.
  5. Disable any cookie blockers you might have enabled.
  6. Consider connecting to a different network, such as switching from WiFi to a mobile/cellular network.
