ChatGPT upgraded me without consent

ChatGPT upgraded my account to pro in january without me noticing until now. I was charged the $20 I agreed to and then 6 days later I was charged $220 for the pro version without my consent and then the same thing happened in February. I have been trying to contact them all day but they are just sending me round in circles on the chat widget. They keep saying to click the ‘payment&billing’ option when in reality that option isn’t available on my widget so i’m just left having to click ‘other’. I then type my issue in and they tell me to try their chat widget which I’m already on. I see other users have been issued refunds from using the widget and I would like to be issued mine ASAP. I emailed them too but no response. Any help would be appreciated!

The same thing happened to me, looks like I was charged in February and I just now noticed. Now it seems they’re about to charge me for March, as my subscription change (downgrading back) is set to take place in April.

I couldn’t find the “Payments and Billing” on my desktop, but I managed to navigate there on my phone with some effort. I opened a chat window on the desktop and the chat on my phone, and they both look the same. They have both also been “waiting for a teammate” for quite awhile now. I may have to find another method or fight the charge on my credit card.
