I have been trying to export my ChatGPT data for the past few days, but I haven’t received any email with the download link. It has been 48 hours since my first request, and I have tried exporting my data multiple times, yet nothing has arrived.

I have checked my spam, promotions, and all other folders, but there is no email from OpenAI. I also verified that my account and email address are correct, and I am using the same Google account linked to my ChatGPT Plus subscription.

I contacted OpenAI support, but they only responded with a generic message saying, “It may take some time, please wait.” However, even if there are delays, 48 hours without any response seems unusual.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?

I received the data in my email today, but I don’t know why it came this late.

I still haven’t received it. It’s been over 2 weeks now for me. I’ve tried exporting multiple times. No email nothing.

I am having the exact same issue.

I am able to receive the email by sending the request through the app.

The download fails after 400-500MB consistently.

Luckily, it seems to have been working well again for me since a few days ago. When I request to export data, I receive an email within 10 minutes. But that’s probably because my data isn’t very large.
