Cannot access ChatGPT no matter what attempts I make

Tried to access ChatGPT, even without my VPN on, and it simply gave the error stated:

Oops!

We were unable to determine your country of origin to enforce geographical restrictions. Please use a different network, or contact us through our help center at help.openai.com if the issue persists.

Unfortunately the help website was of no assistance.

The system decided block our ip - without any reason and support is not responding (bot is not updated):
We were unable to determine your country of origin to enforce geographical restrictions. Please use a different network, or contact us through our help center at help.openai.com if the issue persists.

Those are workarounds, same as using a VPN :slight_smile:
Does anyone know how GPT defines your geo locations? are they using RIPE or any other service? Since this started this week for us, my guess would be that they changed something releated to GEO locations on their end, which caused this.
The problem is the poor support and the fact you can’t get to a support engineer - only the basic BOT.

Same here. Created a ticket but waiting. No one in our company is able to use chat gpt anymore. Disappointing that they give so little importance to the issue. We are dozens of paying users.

As a company we have strict rules regarding security. No one can install a vpn client on the company computers to use chatgpt, so the suggested workaround is useless.

No, I have not been contacted by anyone yet. Support tickets to Chat GPT seem to disappear into a void - there’s just no response. Just to note, we’re a hosting provider with thousands of users who currently cannot access ChatGPT through their business infrastructure, despite our IPs being correctly registered and the country correctly output. As brilliant as ChatGPT is, the support is increasingly disappointing to me. It’s simply unacceptable that you don’t even receive a feedback.

That’s disappointing. They should be doing a lot better than that. Mine’s solved but it took them two weeks to do it. Utterly poor customer service.

What is to do to create a ticket. I used the chat bot and wait for response. Is that all I can do?
