Bad gateway on premium account logging with with Google Auth O

Working for me now - logging in ssso google and still have plus

Same here.
I am still getting the issue on my paid account. Free account works fine (tho there’s no manage account anywhere)

If you sign up to ChatGPT+ via Google Auth, there’s currently no way to amend or cancel your account or subscription if you can’t access the Google SSO for any reason.

My Google account has gone because of a merger. Now I have no access to ChatGPT+, and I’m still being charged, and I can’t even cancel it.

This issue is NOT fixed for me through the API. Using Python to process many documents’ text and summarize, I run into the Bad gateway error every 25 API calls or so and it takes forever to recover, just a blinking cursor for minutes on end. This obviously is bad for my workflow when I need to process hundreds of text documents. Please fix this. I pay for the premium tier for a reason. I expect the API to simply work, but instead it just errors out like this many times during program execution of a large volume of requests. This is not fixed on the API side and should not be treated as such. If there was a way even to reduce the timeout wait for the bad gateway I would be more okay but it takes literal minutes to obtain more results and move on with execution. I then have to fill in the missed ones manually. Not ideal. Please fix the API Bad Gateway Error.

Welcome to the forum!

Bad Gateway means that a server in the chain after it has left OpenAI has failed, this is out of the control of OpenAI, this is an infrastructure problem that could relate to any one of a hundred connectivity providers, up to and including your ISP.

If you get this on a regular timing schedule is could be due to some heavy load systems starting up and causing interference, but as the connection needs to be maintained you can use diagnostics connectivity software to map out your connection to various servers, so called ā€œuptime and line qualityā€ monitors, you can also ask your ISP to monitor your connectivity for issues.

But to re-iterate, the originating service (OpenAI) cannot influence Bad Gateway errors.
