Bad gateway on premium account logging with with Google Auth O

Dear mrconsulting, did you had any answer from the support ?

I’m getting the same error since Monday 20th, have not been able to use GPT, I cleared cookies and caches, also tried a different browser to no available.

jdavis Thanks for this, but I can’t use that as a temporary workaround as it tries to verify your phone number, and I can’t use my phone number anymore :/. I went all the way to create a password, and then the next step asked for me to verify my phone number and gave me the response … . ā€œThis phone number is already linked to the maximum number of accounts.ā€ Which by the way is only 1 account?

Any other options? Besides trying to create another free account. Thanks!

so I got my chatGTP to work and asked what was going on and this is what it came back with just thought it was interesting:

Cleared cach and cookies and browsing data from the last 24 hours and it hasn’t made a difference… I made it to the login screen and as soon as it tries to login into my account it hits the bad gateway screen

Same problem since yesterday (March 20, 2023)
Plus subscription.
Google login.
Denver, CO

Clearing cache, cookies etc. does not work.
Restarting your modem etc. does not work (the problem is not on our end).

OpenAI

  1. Acknowledge the problem
  2. Fix it - asap
  3. Rework the profile settings page so people can choose a different way to log in (in case this happens again). I may prefer not to use Google login moving forward.

Same with my paid account. However I’m able to use my free account using a different Gmail. Very frustrating.

Same here. Paid account: * Error reference number: 502

Same error! very frustrating that this is over 27 hours and still not resolved! Whats the point in paying for it and not getting work done!

45 minutes deep, so far. No response yet. Expected, based on this thread and the GitHub thread like it. 300+ people talking about this, likely double+ experiencing it. 661 total employees at OpenAI, and it looks like there are very few customer service / customer experience troubleshooting employees on the team to manage the cx/comms. related to this… while majority works to clear the bug…hopefully.

This is happening on my Google paid SSO. I can access chat.openai.com with a free account that is not SSO though.

Sadly, I have not. I suppose they have their hands full.
