Adding users to a Teams license, many are not getting access

I added about 50 internal users to our Teams license. We have many of them who are clicking the link in the email invite, and creating a new account and then are taken to a basic ChatGPT account, and not added to our Team.

I have others who have already had a basic free ChatGPT account, and then they clicked the invite and with the same email address, they are not added to our Team.

I need some help sussing these issues out.

Wanted to note that ChatGPT Teams is limited to 50 users the last I heard. By adding 50 more you may have exceeded the limit, thinking you are 1 plus 50 is 51 and over the limit.

Normally I would find the OpenAI page that notes the limit, but they have changed it since last I looked and I do not see mention of the limit.

Will keep looking but wanted to post this sooner rather than latter.

Also the triage bot classified this post wrong so I fixed what I could but will have to get moderator to delete the bot reply.

Update

Seems they have changed the limit for ChatGPT Team based on this OpenAI FAQ

https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8792536-manage-billing-on-the-chatgpt-team-subscription-plan#h_cad53f4190

Is there an upper limit to the amount of seats I can purchase at a time for my ChatGPT Team workspace?

We currently enforce an upper limit of 999 seats per purchase.

With that I do not know a possible solution.
