Has anyone else had issues with receiving a 429 Too many Requests error but the account and project(s) are below the quota? We have a tier 5 account and all of our API keys receive this error, but our usage shows no tokens being consumed since the issue began several days ago.
I tried to check our credits but GET https://api.openai.com/dashboard/billing/credit_grants returns a 504, as does the request to add credits.
I tried reaching out to support but I’ve only received the boilerplate response to check my quotas. This has caused all of our API calls to OpenAI to fail across our account.
I have been trying to check the balance and load credits but I receive a 504 and the credits never show. I also receive a 504 when I attempt to add more credits.
I see the backend request to a URL credit_grants myself. It returns a JSON of the balance, with status 200 OK.
There’s also a bunch of other fingerprinting from different stripe domains, cloudflare bot cookies and captcha provider, and authentication and cookies that you must allow. The whole platform site is like a XSS attack.
I would fire up a different browser install, like Firefox fresh with privacy defaults and no extensions or blockers, and see if you can access the site and pay up.
Otherwise, the 504 may be that Cloudflare cannot route to OpenAI from your geography, or that there is network policy your company admin or firewall software has placed blocking the site.
